‘Lola’s thoughtful, veg-led cooking, inspired by the exuberant flavours of the Mediterranean and the Middle East, has won national acclaim. Most recently running the kitchen at Darsham Nurseries Cafe, Lola now works on a variety of projects and is available for events and collaborations.

Working in kitchens since 2001, I’ve managed cafes and restaurants, run a Turkish Mangal pop up, done cooking workshops, had a catering and events business, and contributed recipes to a book or two. I’ve organically grown, cooked and served heritage vegetables, ancient herbs, fruit and grains, all year round in true plot-to-plate style in coastal Suffolk. I’ve launched a social enterprise catering company working with disadvantaged adults. Volunteered for shelters, cooked for refugees, the homeless and a few celebs too!
